CIM-Web™: Online Cash Management from Orders to Reports

For financial institutions wishing to offer customers Web-based options, CIM-Web™ is a convenient alternative to Gardenia’s CIM-Voice™ cash ordering system. CIM-Web provides the same functionality as CIM-Voice, but allows customers to complete all tasks online: a Web-based cash ordering system.
The CIM-Web™ online cash management application:
CIM-Web™ is a small, agile application that gives cash vault customers the ability to resolve issues and find answers to many of their questions online rather than over the phone. The time savings for vault personnel and accompanying reduction in vault expenses can be considerable.
Server Requirements
Main Web Server: UNIX, LINUX, Microsoft, or Novell 5.x.

Web Applications Server: CIM-Web requires Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 or higher, or Apache Web Server (AWS), running on NT or 2000 Server. The cash vault’s own file server may be used for this purpose, if that option is consistent with bank policy.

Main Web Server
  1. UNIX or LINUX
  2. Novell 5.x
  3. IIS or Apache: NT or Win200x
  4. IIS or Apache: NT or Win200x
Web Applications Server

  1. IIS or Apache: NT or Win200x
  2. IIS or Apache: NT or Win200x
  3. IIS or Apache: NT or Win200x
  4. Same machine serves in both capacities
For smaller organizations, option 4 will be the most cost-effective, since it requires nothing but the Web server itself. Larger organizations with many Web-based functions running on their main Web servers, or with servers from companies other than Microsoft deployed, will find options 1, 2, or 3 appropriate.
